Candidate Profile
Education: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. M.Sc. in Construction Management is preferred.
Specified Field: Marine Construction Engineering.
Language: High level of skill in technical writing, correspondence, and reports in English. Arabic language is an advantage.
Computer Knowledge: Good skills in MS Office.
Special Skills: Ability to lead, motivate and provide guidance and direction to a multi-disciplinary project teams, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
Ability to collate, analyze and act upon complex and diverse information from a variety of sources and produce good quality management data for director level decision making.
Good level of experience in claims, variations and contract evaluation.
PMP certificate is a strong advantage.
Years of Experience: 15-20 years of international and local experience. Previous experience in construction of marine projects such as ports and harbours, water breaks, etc. is a must.

Role Summary
• Supervise and lead the team through the construction phase and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on the project progress.
• Attend progress meetings with client and contractor and provide weekly/monthly reports on both technical and commercial basis.
• Review and approve the technical documents (programs, organization chart, Method of Statement, workshop drawings, etc).
• Analyze the contract on commercial basis and approve the monthly payments.
• Analyze the progress of works based on milestones and resources and its impact on the contract stage.
• Review and approve the technical submissions provided by the site engineer.
• Review the technical proposals and provide up-to-date technical solutions.
