We hire 4 TEFL certified teachers per semester to participate in our language exchange progra, In this exchange program you are required to make a 5 month commitment, the length of our semester. You will have to teach English 3.5 hours a day and in return you will receive 2 hours a day of Spanish class and free housing with a local family. There you will have your own room and bathroom and in most cases maid service. The homestay does not include meals, and you are required to cook for yourself. You will not receive a salary in this program. You also must be willing to teach children and teenagers, as well as adults.
You must be TEFL certified to participate in any of our teaching programs. Your certificate must be at least 120 hours long over a period of 4 weeks, we do not accept on line certificates or intensive weekend courses. If you are already certified, please send the details of the course, when and where it was taken and how it was run.
This is a fantastic way to get valuable teaching experience, all the while learning Spanish and totally immersing yourself in one of the oldest cultures in Mexico.
