Position Summary:
The Community Access Program Coordinator shall be responsible for activities related to the delivery of CAP. The CAP Coordinator will be the lead contact for multiple CAP sites under the CAP Aboriginal envelop - BANAC network.
Start Date: November 30, 2009, contract to March 31, 2010
Compensation: $15 per hour, part-time position ranging from 15 – 30 hours per week

Basic Requirements:
Contract Administration
Facilitates preparation, distribution and finalization of sub-contracts for the sites in the CAP Network within specified timeframes.
Technical Assistance
Provides educational, technical and planning assistance in community development.
Claims Processing
Assists CAP sites to accurately submit expense claims for processing ensuring all submissions are within eligibility guidelines. Submit claims to Industry Canada for payment.
Communication
Ensures lines of communication with sites are maintained and that information is sent and received in a timely manner. Keep Executive Director informed of the status of the program at all times.
Program Monitoring
Monitors site progress in the claims process to ensure established timeframes are met.
