Job Description:
The successful candidate will be a business partner, providing innovative and solutions-oriented generalist human resources support for France, Germany and Italy. The individual will be responsible for providing guidance and advice at all levels within the organisation. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Day-to-day human resources generalist responsibilities to include: recruitment and selection, performance management, compensation administration, employee relations, compliance with statutory reporting and data protection requirements
• Coaching leadership on implementing programs to promote employee engagement and positive employee relations.
• Leading projects and initiatives within and outside the Human Resources function, in a multi-site, international company.
• Special projects as assigned by the Human Resources leadership team
Qualifications:
• Experience of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, gained working for a US based company with an EMEA wide remit
• In depth understanding of French employment law and practice, and working knowledge of German and Italian employment law and practice
• Successful track record in management of recruitment and selection, talent management, compensation, complex employee relations issues, performance management, employee development, mergers and acquisitions, etc. with a focus on retaining & developing talent as well as OD & OE activities.
• Demonstrated competencies in the following areas: change management, business & competitive market knowledge, strategic agility, results orientation, coaching/consultation skills, team facilitation and project management.
• Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills, strong judgment, bias for action, solutions-oriented, solid analytical skills, and the ability to successfully operate in a complex matrix managed environment. High level of ethics and integrity required.
• Proven track record of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, successfully partnering with leaders to incorporate Human Resource principles to solve business challenges.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS and other business tools to positively impact the business.
• Degree level or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management, or related discipline. MBA or MS in Human Resources preferred.
• Professional accreditation with the Association Nationale des Directeurs des Ressources Humaines (ANDRH)
• Fluency in French, English and German essential and Italian preferred
• The ability to travel within the EMEA region
