The hotel has 257 bedrooms, 5 restaurants, 3 conference rooms, a ballroom which can cater for up to 700 people. The Bay Leisure Club with squash and tennis courts, gym, swimming pool, beach and water sports. Intercontinental Doha caters for both corporate and leisure guests alike and we are proud to have a presence in this rapidly developing city.
We`ve got an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Waiter / Waitress where you will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times in the restaurant. Your key responsibilities will include promoting the identity of the restaurant, building rapport and a sense of personalized service towards guests. You will have a good knowledge of the restaurant`s promotions and products and will pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises, in order to maximise hotel sales.
Enable for you to be considered, you must be 20 to 25 years old, pleasant personality, presentable, energetic and service-oriented. A minimum of 6 months experience in the same position from a reputable restaurant and or 4 or 5 star hotel property. You must have excellent English communication skills and second / third languages are an advantage. You must be proactive, adaptable team player who enjoys using their own initiative to drive for results.
