our farm is a total 20,000 m2 with 12000 m2 under cover (multi-span greenhouses) and around 4000 m2 dedicated to lettuces. We also grow a variety of vegetables and herbs but mainly lettuce and tomatoes. For the lettuces we use water in deep flow tunnels and for the tomatoes we use peat-moss with perlite. Our produce is used mainly to supply our restaurants and some is sold locally, however this is a pilot project on which to base a much larger scale produce to sell commercially.
The person we are looking for will have experience in growing a wide variety of quality fruit and vegetables. He/she report to the Farm General Manager and will manage and oversee the general running all aspects of a hydroponic farm as well as performing all other duties from planing, harvesting, fertigation, pest control, packshed processes, management of staff, general maintenance of the farm and general hygiene with compliance to international standards.
We can offer both long or short term contracts, based on the person`s preference.
