Objectives
My goal is to work in a big architecture-engineering firm developing large scale projects around the World. The Bachelor and Master in Architecture at the UPC, in Spain, and the Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Northeastern University, in the USA, have given me the confidence and the knowledge to design and develop any large scale project. The professional experience in the United States was of tremendous help for becoming an excellent professional and opened my expectations as an architect with no boundaries. In Spain I have founded my own firm and I have achieved a very good reputation in Barcelona. All together has given me a global vision and understanding of how to work and manage projects of all kinds anywhere. My Architecture and Engineering background has given me the skills and the ability to coordinate issues related to both fields with confidence and determination. It is time to take over the World’s largest projects development, and the only way to do so is by working in an architecture or engineering firm in Dubai.
Resume Summary
I accumulate 9 years of academic experience in Spain, Italy and The United States. I am an architect since 1997 by the Architecture School of Barcelona, Polytechnic University of Catalonia. In 1993 I moved to Milan to study my fifth year of University in the Polytechnic di Milano, as part of the first set of Erasmus students. In 1997, after finishing studies in Barcelona I moved to Boston, where I stood for the next 5 years. While working in different offices in Boston, I prepared my entry to the Graduate School of Engineering at Northeastern University, where I was admitted and achieved my Mater of Science in Civil Engineering after two years, specialized in structures. I came back to Barcelona and worked for the most important Civil Engineering office in Spain, Brufau Obiols & Moya. This office assists the best worldwide architects developing their projects in Spain.
I founded JC Architect on October 2003. It has grown due to my interest on getting to know and control the processes of marketing, product design and project execution. The ability to coordinate and organize all the process is part of my working personality and the key to the reached success in terms of client satisfaction and work finishes. The architectural projects developed include building renovations in the old neighborhood of Barcelona, dated on the XIX Century, new residential houses outside the city, retail shops, and interior design. New apartment buildings are among the projects developed in the office. I have enough experience and knowledge as to develop bigger projects and with different functionality other than the ones developed until now.
