My job in Language Line was to interpret phone calls from English to Spanish and viceversa. In this company I was promoted to a more sophisticated degree of translation after taking an exam that would allow me to do so.

The Accounts Payable Technician main task is to pay all the invoices submitted by other companies to Dole as soon as possible, by processing them on time. Phone calls to Dole’s creditors in the United States were also frequent. As part of the training, I spent approximately 6 months in California, working hand in hand with Dole employees up there.

The Operations Official has several tasks, among which the following: when opening a bank account, verify that the information required is the correct one, to ensure that the personal documents required are actual documents and not forged. When the guidelines are not met, the Official must inform Compliance immediately. I keep a control spreadsheet with account information (account status, signatories, directors, juristictions). Furthermore, I have to contact banks to find out about new financial products to offer the customers and create financial structures according to the clients’ needs.
