 The main task involves listening to audio recordings in Zulu speech and typing out what is said or fixing the given Zulu text to match the audio.Another task involves listening to recordings to determine if they are suitable to be used, for example if the dialect is correct, or if there is too much background noise Project start date: As soon as possible Payment: $22.07 p/h inclusive superannuation. | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | Essential skills: - Must be a native speaker of Zulu from South Africa - Must be able to identify different dialects from South Africa - Must have typing experience in Zulu - Good spelling and knowledge of grammar in Zulu - Language skills must be current i.e. the language is still spoken and written Desirable skills: - Attention to detail - Previous language/linguistic training highly preferred - Be available to work at least 3 days a week at our office in Chatswood, Sydney |
