Purpose / General Responsibilities:

Ensure all activities are performed with the highest standards, providing all the support needed to our
internal and external customers.  Assist Damco to become the single point of contact for all SCM needs of our customers.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Staff Development and Company Values
Develop skills and talent among the direct report by promoting the company values in the daily performance and decision making, promoting the direct empowerment, task delegation and accountability.  Support cross training, ensuring all staff is fully knowledgeable on servicing any product delivered.

• Data Quality
Close follow up on monthly figures, timely data inputs for SCM and OCE customers, accurate information, and assistance to the TPA Finance Controller in the monthly closing process.

• Customer Retention
Ensure through the assistance of peers, smooth service delivery, both internally and externally in order to maintain and develop progressively current customer portfolio.

Key Performance Indicators - Data Quality KPIs and customer retention.

Position Requirements
Skills / Industry Qualifications Required:The ideal candidate will be a person who has good communication and persuasion skills and the drive to go the extra mile and win in a highly competitive environment, both internally and externally.

Key (technical) skills:
• Professional standard knowledge of the Forwarding / SCM business, based on experience.
• Deep insight into management responsibilities, being the main contact for the area delegated within the location assigned.
• MS Office (Including Outlook)
