Plant Maintenance Engineering TechnicianPerforms maintenance assignments involving the routine maintenance, repair, installation and overhaul of manufacturing/process equipment. Duties aligned with operations to maintain equipment and support systems in validated and compliant state. Comply with all regulatory/cGMP guidelines, and Pharmaceutical Packaging standards and policies. Temp to perm position. Train on the first shift (6:30AM – 5:00PM, M-Th) and once they complete the training they will go to the second shift (5:00PM-3:30AM). Training will last approximately 6 weeks. Responsibilities- Repair, perform preventative maintenance, and changeover pharmaceutical packaging equipment, mechanical systems, utilities and facilities. Maintain and optimize existing packaging equipment to meet quality and customer expectations. Responsible for the startup and shut down of the facility and packaging equipment. Assist with new equipment specifications, installations, troubleshooting and acceptance testing. Perform validations (IQ, PQ, OQ). | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | Qualifications High school Diploma or GED required. Technical degree or equivalent preferred. Experience maintaining/repairing/using equipment internal electrical, mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to use hand tools, and read/use mechanical schematics. Good documentation skills, attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and ability to train others. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Preferred Experience Prefer that 3-5 years of maintenance technician experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting, packaging operations preferred including blistering machinery, fillers, cappers, labelers and cartoners. Packaging or manufacturing equipment maintenance or related training required. DEA clearance required including drug testing. |
