 Business Development Manager (3-7 years work exp) US Architecture firmArchibat is looking for BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER for a MIDSIZE US ARCHITECTURAL FIRM to join its Shanghai branch. Qualified Candidates will possess excellent teamwork and collaboration skills as this firm's design process demands a high level of interaction with the internal team, overseas offices, and clients. The Business Development Manager will assist the firm principals in building and strengthening relationships in China with both new and prospecting clients. The manager will facilitate social engagements, entertainment and quality assurance follow-up programs in order to maintain frequent communication with key client leaders. During business development events, she/he will be responsible for the hospitality of guests and smooth interpretation between English and Chinese speakers. Through participation with professional organizations and industry events, she/he will gain understanding of foreign competitors and increase exposure of our client in the China market. | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | •Bachelor degree •3-7 years post-graduate experience in a position requiring courteous English-Mandarin communication with guests. •Working experience in Shanghai and strong familiarity with the city and culture. •Experience and confidence communicating with high-level business people in English and Mandarin. •outgoing personality and friendly demeanor. •Strong interest and appreciation for design, aesthetics and fashion •Excellent team working skills, strong sense of personal responsibility and dedication to the job •Flexible schedule and willingness to work outside of regular office hours •Patience, willingness and aptitude to learn and to teach •Proficiency in MS word, Excel, Power Point •Knowledge of In-design, or other graphic layout software is desirable •knowledge of the design coordination process with clients, project managers, and technical design professions. |
