| This person will assist in the scheduling and coordination of jobs through the shop, establish and manage machine preventative maintenance and repair issues and ensure the working environment is clean and safe. This person will also purchase supplies and repair parts, and liaison with customers and vendors. This person will also setup and operate machines as needed. | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | Required Skills: -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Organizational skills -Experience in supervision -A good working knowledge of metals machining and grinding processes -Computer skills Preferred Skills: As a working supervisor, this person should have experience in a job shop environment where schedules are frequently juggled to meet customer needs. Good communications skills are important as you will be interfacing with shop personnel, office staff, and customers and vendors. |
