Awiai offers Engineering, Operation & Maintenance, Project Management, Architecture, Information Technology, Equipment and Construction services.

Awiai is looking for  young, mature, result-oriented and forward-thinking individuals to be part of our ever-growing, multi-national consultancy firm. This is a challenging and rewarding Executive role which combines specified marketing functions with territorial sales responsibilities. This position requires a strong customer focus and effective account management. The position will be responsible for growing the territory market share, managing applicable factory business relationships and development/implementation of growth strategies. These responsibilities support company’s commitment to represent company in a defined territory. There is emphasis placed on meeting customer demands (internal, external and Dealer customers/partners).

In addition to the above, this position has the following expectations:

• Strong cross-business unit working relationships and strict adherence to CME department policies

• Responsibility to meet the Sales AOP with target gross margin levels

• Generate new sales opportunities and expand customer base

• Assist the Sales Managers to implement sales and marketing strategies for the development

• Increase Quotation Hit Rate

• Evaluating customer specification requirements in order to prepare plant quotations.

• Work closely with the Sales Manager, taking the lead in customer order processing

• Assure the sales tools are fully used and updated

Represent CME with professionalism & Integrity providing “one face” to the customer.

Ensure the company policy and procedures are adhered to.

Meet and exceed the AOP targets for sales and margin

Expand Customer base

Create, implement & monitor an annual territory operating plan with which to work by.

Deliver sales information & product presentations to CME delivery partners and end use customers.

Cultivate & expand CME’s customer base (eg: organize + plan participation in trade shows, dealer open houses & Industry associations and conventions)

Conduct site surveys where the complexity of the enquiry demands a visit.

Respond to general sales requests offering advice, guidance and reference materials where necessary.

Evaluate and qualify customer requirements and prepare quotations

Maintain close contact with the appropriate Customer Support representative.

Manage customer, internal department and dealer relationships on an on-going basis with goal of creating “A Customer for life”

Use appropriate sales tools effectively, negotiate and close deals

Log and maintain inquiries within the quote log and regular update of forecasts

Respond to customer needs/concerns/queries in a variety of markets.

Develop and maintain customer profiles and action plans, and coordinate involvement from appropriate departments within CME to develop action plans for key accounts

Maintain and secure all department assets, including vehicles and equipment

Review and maintain (through business case development) optimum stock levels of championed products

Assist Financial team in overdue collections leveraging customer relationships

Provide forecasts and market reports for territory and championed products

Maintain specified market / customer/channel partner leadership for overall CME enterprise

Update and organize customer/dealer contact/information databases

Maintain market specific reports and territorial sales forecasts

Assist financial team in overdue collection, leveraging customer relationships

Contribute to business case development to ensure adequate inventory stock levels for specified markets

Update and organize customer and dealer contact/information databases both at CME and ones requested by company

Manage customer, internal department and dealer relationships on an on-going basis with goal of creating “A Customer for life”

Other duties as defined by the Sales Manager.

- Building relationships with Clients, Designers, Architects, General Contractors, and Developers
- Presenting Awiai-conceptualized projects/proposals on a regular basis using all of the available tools such as the case studies, Project Presentations, etc.
- Communication and Idea Generation.
- Learning and appreciating the needs of clients from the C-level, to facilities, to IT
- Get to where the clients are. Attend events in the local business community, not just events in the design, construction world.
- Work as a partner with manufacturer's rep. Appreciate and use each other’s talents.
- Product knowledge to help clients create the most cost effective design
- A strong understanding of construction, real estate, and job site conditions
- Comfortable in participating in the construction process and interacting with a General Contractor and Project Manager
- Reviewing files with ICE Designer or similar softwares
Position Requirements
Skills / Industry Qualifications Required:- Design, Architectural, Engineering or Construction background
- Strong marketing and sales capabilities. Must have proven experience in closing sales.
- Lead generation background.
- Very strong presentation skills
- Ability to be Solutions Provider
- Understanding of Interior Construction – Architectural Elements, Lighting, Electrical, HVAC, basic base-building knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage several projects at one time
- Understanding of what it takes to get a project to shop drawing stage

Candidates with the following experience are preferred:

- Degree or diploma in design, architecture or enginnering
- Construction experience
