The role To analyze syndicated research data and corporate data in a timely and accurate fashion to support the understanding of the European business performance, customer and competitive activity and performance, and market trends. The position will also support the European business via ad-hoc business analyses as requested by the business. Task and Responsibilities The position will be responsible for the handling and analysis of syndicated data to assure quality of data and preparation of a variety of standard and custom reports to address business needs, working under the direction of the Consumer Insights Manager. The key responsibilities include: Data Management & Reporting Understanding the technical aspects of information sources available. Management of the data specifications. Quality control procedures and checks to assure accurate data. Preparation, analysis and interpretation of standard business reports. Consultation with clients to design, prepare and analyze relevant custom business reports. Management of syndicated data provider relationship (communication, specifications, billings, performance evaluation, etc.). Oversee and manage Household panel data where available. Embed usage of Global Integrated Database in Europe. Business Analysis Help to integrate corporate learnings from syndicated research resources with learnings from information gained through competitive intelligence, customer marketing research and a variety of other sources. Proactively communicate with European and country business teams to identify analyses that will increase understanding and generate insight related to key business issues. Support GMIT team with reporting market size and share data for investor relations, budget planning and business reviews. Provide direct support for European countries without business analysis support. | |

| Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | Requirements Minimum of 3 to 5 years Market Research experience gained within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or FMCG led MR Agencies. Bachelor’s degree required. Experience of using syndicated research data i.e. EPOS, panel, audit data. Excellent communication skills. Planning and priority setting/results oriented.
