Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations (AIM-HI), National Chung Cheng University (CCU), Taiwan, is excited to announce the recruitment of outstanding foreign scholars and potential young scholars to our institute. The projects undertaken at AIM-HI will involve research and development of key technologies for the next-generation machine tools for green and manufacturing systems. Beyond the direct application to precision machining, the technologies developed are expected to find productive applications in other systems too, including intelligent robots and vehicles, eco-friendly fabrication processes in the semiconductor and flat panel display industries (the two major industries in Taiwan, generating total revenues of trillions of NT dollars each) as well as the emerging green energy industry. We encourage scholars who wish to work on projects on advanced manufacturing technologies relating to green manufacturing systems to apply.
