Try to avoid leaving spaces, because only horizontal lines count for points. Tip: Place the pieces so that the next available figure will fit in the gap. Note, if you reach the top, the game is over. There is one piece that can fix the situation - a small flashing square. Use it wisely, as it clears up one whole vertical row. Slide and move the tetris pieces around until they all fit into the yellow area at the bottom of the game screen (Similar to a jig-saw puzzle). How to Play: Use your computer mouse to drag the tetris pieces around the game screen. Slot the pieces into the yellow area at the bottom of the screen, so that they fully fit the space. You can't leave any spaces, because you will have to move the pieces around again. You can drag a few pieces at once in any direction, as long as you have free space to move them to. However, you cannot rotate them. There are 'Undo', 'Redo', 'Reset' and 'Quit' buttons at the bottom of the game screen. How to Play: In each increasingly challenging level, your goal is to reach the Points Target in the top right corner of the game screen. Score points by eliminating Star-Blocks from the initially very large 12X10 grid of different colored Blocks. Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Double Left Click on any two (or more) Star-Blocks of the same color that are positioned adjacent to each other, either horizontally or vertically on the grid. When you make a color match, these Blocks are eliminated from the grid. You score points depending on how many Blocks you eliminated at a time.
Your total points tally so far is shown in the top left corner (It says "Get" but means "Got so far"). The level is completed when all possible matches are eliminated from the grid. While you may reach the Target before the end of the level, keep matching as many as you can as your score is carried over to the next level. Each time Blocks are removed, the ones directly above them slide vertically downward to fill in the gap. If a horizontal gap is created, the Blocks automatically shift over to remove this gap. At the end of each level, the remaining un-matched blocks are counted up, and taken away from a Reward that you receive for completing each level. If you fail to reach the Points Target, it’s game over, and you have to start all over again from the first level.
Tip: The trick is to eliminate more than two blocks at a time. This earns much bigger points scores, and helps to clear the grid much more quickly. Clicking once on a matching group indicates how many points that elimination is worth. Click again to remove these Blocks. Good luck!
Ice Breakout with Penguins is another version of the classic 'Arkanoid' game that develops quick-reaction skills. You have to break the ice blocks using two penguins on a seesaw. The closer to the end of the seesaw a penguin lands, the higher he will jump and break an ice block. Note, if the penguin lands too close to the middle of the seesaw, he will fall into the water and you will lose one of your three precious lives. You have to be very quick, because the higher the penguins jump - the faster they land. Be careful not to hurt the penguins! Happy jumping!
