We offer certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses in the fields of Design Communication, New Media Art and Electro-Sonics to students from around the world. In addition, we offer a wide range of short courses. The language of instruction is English. All diploma programmes are registered with the Council for Private Education, a statutory board under Singapore’s Ministry of Education, and are offered in both full-time and part-time modes.

Diploma & Certificate Programmes & Short Courses:
As there are no more than twelve students per group (at the same level), lecturers are able to better communicate with each student as well as provide closer supervision and guidance. The small numbers also allow students to interact and work with each other, simulating an industry team situation. The programmes focuses on each student's creative potential as well as nurture their skills and abilities to develop themselves as unique and confident individuals.
During the course, students will make proposals for projects and develop creative content through them. They will have both control and responsibility of their projects, guided by their lecturers.

Diploma in Design Communication:
Focus: Drawing, graphic design, package design, advertising, interactive web and media design, computer graphics animation, digital imaging and photography and video editing.
Course Duration: Full-time: 32 weeks; Part-time: 64 weeks
Diploma in New Media Art:

Diploma in Electro-Sonics:
A wide range of pedagogy for an improved audio and sound engineering education, this programme utilises a hands-on approach to audio and sound engineering education. The programme is designed to develop the technical and artistic skills of students, as well as to teach them the intricacies of both production and post-production by stressing on the details rather than the common skills.
Course Duration: Full-time: 30 weeks; Part-time: 60 weeks
Advanced Diploma in Design Communication:
Focus: Advanced studies in graphic design and advertising. Students will also be able to choose a field of specialisation. Suitable for fresh graduates with a related diploma or degree who wish to further develop their portfolios, or experienced industry practitioners who wish to refresh their portfolios.
Course Duration: Full-time: 24 weeks; Part-time: 48 weeks
Advanced Diploma in New Media Art:
Focus: Advanced studies in animation, video and interactive media. Students will also be able to choose a field o
f specialisation. Suitable for fresh graduates with a related diploma or degree who wish to further develop their portfolios, or experienced industry practitioners who wish to refresh their portfolios.
Course Duration: Full-time: 24 weeks; Part-time: 48 weeks
Orita Sinclair Apprenticeship Programme:
A 7-month Specialist Diploma in Design Communication that consists of hands-on work experience in design studios where you will learn in a studio environment under Creative Directors. You will get hands-on experience in executing briefs, understanding clients' needs and receive expert critique that will help you to improve. On completion, you will have a highly impressive portfolio - your talent made tangible - and be in an excellent position to achieve your dream design position.
There are a total of 8 modules in this programme including Graphic Design Studio modules, Negotiated Study modules and Design Culture and Practices modules. Each module is 72 hours long and all involve projects.
- The focus of the Graphic Design Studio modules is to train apprentices to interpret and respond to a brief. The objective is to provide you with the opportunity to develop strategies to tackle branding campaigns targeted at clients with different requirements and needs.
- The focus of the Negotiated Study modules is to allow apprentices the opportunity and autonomy to propose projects that will showcase their creativity and individuality as a designer. Apprentices are required to do their own market research to see what the current trends are and come up with a proposal.
- The focus of the Design Culture and Practices modules is to allow apprentices the opportunity to work in teams, similar to real life work situations in a design agency.
All apprentices are expected to fulfill the requirements of all 8 modules by the stipulated deadlines given, and present all their works at the end of their programme during the End-of-Course Evaluation.
Admission requirements include: Minimum age 16 years; 3 ‘N’ levels or equivalent; English ‘N’ level C6 or equivalent; Portfolio Presentation and Interview. Applicants who do not meet the entry requirement but show talent will be interviewed and attended to on a case by case basis.
