 Programs:

12-Week English for Academic Purposes with topcis including vocabulary expansion, pronunciation comprehensibility, English grammar and structure knowledge, academic writing techniques and autonomous learning and critical thinking; 4-Week Short-term Summer English Program; Pronunciation and Conversation; Grammar Boot Camp; Introduction to Business Communication; English for Professional Purposes; 13-Week Business Internship Program.


 Accommodation:

AccommodationThe School can help with two types of accommodation for students: Residence or placement with a Homestay family. Both of these types of accommodation have limited availability, so students should apply early in order to obtain their preferred choice of accommodation.

Socio-Cultural Program:
The School of English organizes a full program of extra-curricular activities for the students in each session. These events include films, sports, indoor and outdoor games, along with sightseeing, shopping and visits to Kingston’s many historic sites.

The School regularly arranges trips to attractions outside of Kingston (i.e. Toronto, Niagara Falls and Ottawa). These additional trips are optional excursions for which there is an extra fee.

School of English students may participate in all of the activities offered to undergraduate students at Queen's University.
