The Center organizes training courses for developing the character of the Arabic teacher. The Instructor Training Section aims at:

1. Preparing courses in teaching Arabic as a second language.
2. Preparing training systems and innovative approaches based on the Center′s curricula.
3. Preparing pedagogical guides based on the training course systems.
4. Developing the occupational specifications fitting teachers of all specializations in the Arabic language.
5. Developing the occupational specifications fitting the trainers of the training courses for teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.

The teaching system in the Center is based on the use of cutting-edge technology through which the student′s linguistic needs in the Arabic language are further explored, hence such needs are covered by the teacher through a system specialized in addressing the weaknesses in each skill or linguistic component with the corresponding language tool with the help of audio and visual applications.

Linguistic practices are given in accordance with the needs of the student until he masters the language. They cover all the practical skills he was taught in the class.

The system of teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers is different from any other education system, because it is related to the second-language teaching systems not to teaching Arabic to native speakers. In other words, teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers involves skills and leads to acquisition of a new means of communication called the second language, while teaching Arabic to native speakers is an art that leads to acquisition of knowledge, information, culture and ideology. Therefore the systems used in teaching Arabic to native speakers should not be used in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
