Class Art is a unique children's art school located on the south side of Dublin city. We offer after -school classes to 5-12 year olds that cover drawing, painting, print, textiles, collage, mixed media, clay and 3D work. Our teachers are graduates of the National College of Art and Design and are professional artists and designers that love sharing their skills with children. Class Art classes are entirely compatible with the Primary School Visual Arts Curriculum.

Our specialist teachers follow a process led approach. This means that children are encouraged to be experimental and follow their creative impulses. We don't operate a system where children copy examples of artwork as we feel this inhibits children's personal development. At Class Art we aim for every child's work to be as individual as they are!

At Class Art we know that making art and experimenting with materials is great fun. Art teaches children to embrace the many different pathways that can be taken when solving a problem.

Our art classes help children to discover the strength of their vision and grow confident in their ability to make choices. Our teachers nurture individual creativity, give confidence, regardless of ability, and support all artistic potential.

Our classes cover all areas of painting, colour, print, collage, drawing, textiles, stitch, clay and 3D work that are outlined in the curriculum.

We also teach children on our classes about artists and encourage them to look and respond to their work. Children gain skills and knowledge whilst having great fun.

Art activities can be great fun. Children love to experiment with lots of different mediums and share their ideas through their visual work.

The right art education is invaluable in stimulating creative thinking. Our classes enable children to experience the excitement and fulfillment of creativity and become aware of their potential and ability to achieve through art activities.
