German In Austria:
German in Austria ("Deutsch In Österreich"), the language center of the University of Klagenfurt: Our campus is located in the beautiful surroundings of Austria's most popular vacation area Carinthia, at the shores of Lake Wörthersee. German in Austria was established in 1978 and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2008.

The University of Klagenfurt is a young and dynamic one, paying more attention to the individual student rather than to robes and other regalia of academic tradition. Nevertheless, it has gained its outstanding reputation thanks to its research and teaching. Due to recent renovation and expansion, the university, located at the crossroads of three cultures, has become a very attractive educational center, as surveys conducted amongst students and graduates and an increase in enrollment have shown. At the present approximately 8,400 students from 61 different countries are enrolled at the university.
