How do I access the lessons?
Go to study zone in the top menu bar and click on the section you want to study from the drop down menu. You must login before you can access the material as the lessons are only available to members of aircrewz.

Who runs aircrewz?
Your teacher and lesson designer is Frank Thomas Spencer. He has taught aviation English and radiotelephony communications to hundreds of students over more than 10 years in flight schools in the UK and Spain. He is 35 years old and currently resides in Manchester UK.

Frank studied for his PPL in 2000 and has had extensive ground school training, completing the ATPL ground school course. He has worked closely with highly experienced airline pilots when obtaining the materials for this site and designing the lessons.

Frank believes in a global approach to aviation English where technical English, radiotelephony and general English are taught and used side by side like they are in real aircraft operations.

How often do you add new lessons?
We add at least 3 or 4 new exercises every week to the latest lessons section. And remember you can access all of our older material in the Study Zone archive.

Do I need any special software?
No, all our material has been designed in .html and flash and it has been tested on most web browsers including Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox, etc. All of these browsers come with the Macromedia Flash plugin as standard.
