Speaking and Reading Everyday Thai:
4 levels of 120 hours each
Course duration : 6 weeks per level
Timetable : Monday to Friday / 8 am to 12 pm
New course start every 6 weeks

Level 1-2
Brief description:
• Learn to speak and listen to the Thai language through practical dialogues. Topics have been selected to meet the basic needs of foreigners living in Thailand – (note that a phonetic system will be used)
• Learn to read and to write Thai language script ( around 1 hour a day)

Objectives :
• Develop your listening and speaking skills
• Learn the basics of Thai grammar.
• Expand your vocabulary (around 1400 words)
• Learn about Thai culture
• Learn all basic rules for reading and writing Thai language

Method :
• Listening and understanding practical dialogues (overall and detailed comprehension)
• Learn how to use patterns of Thai language trough various examples
• Appropriation of patterns and vocabulary with 200 exercises
• Speaking practices through role playing
• Appropriation of reading and writing rules of Thai language through practices and exercises

Level 3 and 4 :
Brief description:
• Gain more confidence in speaking and listening Thai language
• Expand your vocabulary
• Learn more about Thai culture
• Learn to read with ease a variety of written documents in Thai language
• Learn to write message on limited topics
• Note: Thai language script replace the phonetic system

Objectives :
• Expand your vocabulary on a wider range of topics
• Expand your knowledge of Thai grammar
• Further enhance your listening skills
• Develop confidence in your speaking skills
• Develop your reading and writing abilities through various written documents (dialogues, advertisements, newspapers articles, … )

Method :
• Studying various authentic materials (overall and detailed comprehension)
• Listening and reading practices (various documents read by a native Thai language speaker)
• Many exercises to enhance vocabulary acquisition, correct use of Thai grammar and develop writing skills
• Speaking practices through role playing and debate

Reading Everyday Thai:
Reading Everyday Thai
2 levels of 90 hours
Course duration 6 weeks per level
Timetable: Monday to Friday / 1 pm to 4 pm
New course start every 6 weeks

Brief description:
• Not only will you learn to write and read Thai language, you will also develop your speaking skills and improve your pronunciation skills
• Note : aimed to students with a previous knowledge of spoken Thai ( Speaking Everyday Thai level 1 and 2)

Objectives :
• Learn all basic rules for reading and writing Thai language
• Read with ease various short documents
• Write simple messages on selected topics

Method :
• Appropriation of reading and writing rules through practices and exercises
• Studying various authentic materials (overall and detailed comprehension)
• Listening and reading practices (various documents read by a native Thai language speaker)
• Many exercises to enhance vocabulary acquisition, correct use of Thai grammar and develop writing abilities
• Speaking practices through role playing and debate

• Exercise books (only for level 2)

My Thai Buddy:
“My Thai Buddy” is a face to face conversation / pronunciation course. “My Thai Buddy” is the ideal complement for every group students. It will help you gain confidence in your speaking abilities while improving your pronunciation of the Thai language. With “My Thai Buddy” you will not study new materials but instead focus solely on developing your speaking and pronunciation skills.

Lost in Translation:
“Lost in Translation” is a face to face refresher course. “Lost in Translation” is ideal for group students with learning difficulties. It is far more beneficial than retaking the same group course since the teacher and you will be able to focus only on your own difficulties. This course may also be beneficial to students who have interrupted their studies for a while or new students with a previous knowledge of the Thai language. With “Lost in Translation” our goal is to make sure you’re ready to integrate one of our group courses.

Private Course:
Learn at your own pace! As a private student, you can learn at a pace and on a schedule that’s convenient for you. At Everyday Thai Language School, the program can also be customized to meet your specific needs.

Semi-Private courses:
These courses (2 - 5 students) are aimed primarily at those students who already completed all group courses at Everyday Thai Language School, and wish to further expand their knowledge of the Thai language. The limited group size will ensure that you receive plenty of attention at an affordable price (150-200 baht an hour).
