Prem Tinsulanonda International School:
The Prem Tinsulanonda International School is one of the most prestigious international schools in South-East Asia and one of only a few boarding schools in Asia offering the International Baccalaureate program. Located in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, our school provides a holistic IB education on a spacious, nature-filled campus, with comfortable boarding facilities to accommodate international students from across Asia and beyond. PTIS is part of a unique Center for International Education that sees thousands of students visit per year, as well as the K-12 students who attend a three programme ´ World School. Last year's 45 graduates gained preferred entry into the top universities around the world, based on their IB Diploma results. The boarding program is well supervised, structured, challenging and fun. There are a healthy variety of activities that cater to all students and allow them to develop unique life skills that will continue to assist them throughout their chosen careers.

The 14 professional boarding staff are committed to an environment where every student feels safe, secure, healthy, enlightened, cared for and listened too.

Boarding students live and learn from each other by bringing together different cultures, religions and ethnicity. Boarding students have great opportunites to further their education out of the classroom with:

* Supervised study sessions in the evenings and on weekends
* Access to academic staff after school hours when requested
* After school activities programs offering diverse activities
* Boarding activities program promoting healthy interaction with others
* Experiential Activity program (including sports and arts)
* Outdoor, cultural, arts and shopping trips offered each weekend

Students are housed in modern and comfortable two bedroom apartments with ensuite bathrooms. Wireless internet is available throughout the boarding facility.

A secure, safe environment is provided by 14 full time boarding staff (living in the same residential clusters as students) with the assistance of full time nursing and security staff.
