They gain a solid foundation in management capabilities with coursework such as business innovation, entrepreneurship and global leadership. Through their studies and internships, which may include study abroad, they graduate ready to contribute to successful enterprises worldwide.
B.A. in Business, with concentration in Food Service Management
The Food Service Management Concentration provides business students with a solid foundation in all areas of food service management and food-related industries including operations, procurement, production, distribution and service as well as consumer behavior. The concentration is focused on preparing graduates to work for network-based, large scale operations such as chain and franchise restaurants and catering companies, as well as large retailing and food delivery entities that package, prepare and/or supply food to establishments such as schools, healthcare facilities and other commercial businesses.
B.A. in Business, with concentration in Culinary Arts
Kendall offers students who wish to pursue management careers in the restaurant or food and beverage industries the option of getting their B.A. in business with a concentration in Professional Cookery, Baking & Pastry or Personal Chef & Catering. The program provides a special blend of hands-on culinary knowledge through the School of Culinary Arts that complements the program's broader business skills.
Certificate classes are designed for working adults, and are held in the evenings and on weekends.
