Arabic:This course is designed to develop students' proficiency and communication in Modern Standard Arabic in the four basic skills. At the intermediate level, more emphasis is placed on the reading and writing skills than the first level. The course introduces students to a wide variety of styles and genres from the classical and modern periods through authentic texts. It also continues to help develop students' listening and speaking skills through the use of authentic audio-video materials.
