CAMMUA Makeup School is located in Encinitas in Northern San Diego County, California. We are an elite beauty / makeup school offering make-up artist certification programs with small classes and lots of hands-on personal attention for each student. Unlike other makeup schools where students are taught by employee makeup artists that come and go, our make-up artist certification programs in San Diego are taught by owner Janet Pippins, who is a successful makeup artist with a thriving Bridal business and has been published in several publications. She takes pride in her students and expects excellence from them. Janet was personally taught by Gia Deo - 30 year veteran of the industry and the owner and teacher at the Newport Beach and Upland locations.

CAMMUA aims to bring modern makeup techniques to the industry. This school is for those who are serious about making Makeup Artistry their career and will enrich individuals who want to take makeup artistry to the next level. With CAMMUA'S focus being on High Fashion makeup this school will produce makeup artists who will be at the top of High Fashion makeup artistry.

Cammua with Janet Pippins was great for what I was looking for. I wanted something that wasn't too long but had everything I needed to start as a professional makeup artist.
