Mission:

What We Do:
With five academic terms per year, chances are good that a course is starting soon. Registration is limited, ensuring support and personal attention for all students. All classes meet in downtown San Francisco, at 55 New Montgomery Street, Suite 713 (only a half block from the Montgomery Street MUNI / BART station). Make friends and learn Arabic in a comfortable, but serious, environment.

Arabic Curriculum:
We believe that Arabic is a living language and should be taught as such. This means that every class is infused with oral drills and conversation practice, and that we offer not only Modern Standard Arabic but also a variety of dialects from across the Arab world, taught just as they are spoken on the street.

Students with no prior exposure to the Arabic language must start in our Introduction to Arabic class, where they will learn the writing system and basic conversation. From there, they can continue to Modern Standard Arabic 1 and work their way up to Level 7. Or they can choose to begin studying a dialect. In addition to our core curriculum, we offer classes in conversation, authentic materials, calligraphy, and a variety of workshops on pronunciation, grammar, and more.
