Hair Styling for Makeup Artists (1 day):
As a professional Makeup Artist, knowing basic hair updos is a must! In this program you will learn hair techniques & updos for Beauty, Print and Bridal through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on learning of styles. This course is strictly styling (no cutting, coloring etc.). Each student gets a full hairstyling kit and mannequin head.
Course Content: Combs & Brushes; Healthy Hair Rules; Hair Types & Textures; Different Hair Products; Teasing; Party Curls; Fast updos; Straightening Hair; Hygiene; Current Hairstyles & more.
Lite FX Class (1 day):
If you are already a make-up artist or would like to start a new career in the special effects industry, this course can offer you the techniques and understanding to allow you the confidence to participate in the film and television arena. It starts at beginner’s level, covering the fundamentals of Lite special effects in today's film and TV industry.
This class includes lectures, demonstrations and hands-on learning of styles, (it does not teach prosthetics.) Each student will get an FX Makeup kit from Graftobian including: face powders, crème foundations & contour shading, modeling wax, stage blood, latex wedges & sponges, tooth wax, lip & eye pencils, powder puff, hair whitening stick & more.
Course Content: A lesson in light & shade; Bruising; Cuts; Black eyes; Scratches; Missing teeth; Slit wrist; Burns; Old Aging character makeup.
