GEOS English Academy, San Francisco, California on the West Coast of the US is located in the convenient and exciting downtown area close to world class shopping, restaurants and major transportation facilities such as the BART and Muni bus lines. We offer a Homestay Program where foreign students can practice their English daily, experience American culture and the California lifestyle with a San Francisco host family.

Homestay Program:
The GEOS Homestay Program is intended to give visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of American culture by sharing with their host family in everyday life. As well as being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, it is expected that students will be able to participate in family activities for a holistic view of life in Costa Mesa. A GEOS staff member visits each of our homestay families with student's interests in mind. Our aim is to provide our students with a secure, educational, and economical environment. Our host families live in safe, comfortable neighborhoods in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

While enjoying activties with their host families students can also enjoy the many cultural and entertainment highlights San Francisco has to offer. Some of the most popular places to visit include Fisherman’s Wharf, Ocean Beach, Alcatraz, Sausalito, Baseball Games at AT&T Park, and much more! Other popular attractions in the Northern California area are Napa Valley, Wine Country, Yosemite National Park, Monterey Aquarium, Santa Cruz Beach.
