Applied Scholastics Academy of the Valley is a non-denominational, non-profit, independent private school in Reseda, Los Angeles County, CA. We offer a traditional and challenging academic program, supplemented with a strong arts and music curriculum. Our teaching methods emphasize studying for application, so that our graduates are well-equipped to go out into the world and use what they have learned to achieve their goals.

Students are taught to understand one hundred percent of what is being studied, and are not passed on to the next level without this understanding. Each student receives daily individualized assistance from his teacher to ensure that he is on track and excelling. We also teach students a non-religious, common sense moral code emphasizing personal responsibility, integrity, and respect for others.

Courses / Programs:
Pre-kindergarten through grade 8; low student/teacher ratios. Summer program also available. We offer a strong and highly successful reading program; mathematics taught with emphasis on use in life; grammar; phonics; science; geography; history. Our enrichment programs include fine arts, music, yoga, foreign language, and computers.
