Sea Esl, Powell River:
Sea ESL is located in Powell River, near Vancouver, western Canada. We provide ESL Classes for adults in a fun environment with lots of activities.

ESL / Full Immersion Program:
23.5 Hours per week 94 hours per term:
• Four levels by ability: Apprentice, Intermediate, Advanced- Intermediate, and Advanced.
• This full-time immersion course includes grammar and real-world skills like, listening, vocabulary boosting, conversation, and afternoon one-on-one tutorial sessions .
• Elective classes and activities are limited by seasonality and program choice.
• Students are guaranteed five hours of activities per week.
• All activity fees are included, so there is no need to pay more.

Students will be fully immersed in Canadian culture and will be able to use their English in real ways while having fun in beautiful and safe Powell River.

• 9:30 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. Monday to Thursday, Friday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Maximum of EIGHT students per class guaranteed.
• Structured to strengthen students’ English by applying all four skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing, in every class.
• Materials are based on practical modern grammar and current vocabulary.
• Extensive listening and speaking opportunities.
• Useful and interesting electives.
• Teacher assessed video feedback.

SEA’s Part-Time ESL and Limited Activities:
Mornings = 15hrs. Afternoons =9.5:
9:30-12:30 or 1:30-3:35pm ( Friday 1:30 finish)
• Maximum of EIGHT students per class guaranteed.
• Students can choose morning or afternoon study -- whichever is more convenient for them. This allows them time to work or just relax in and enjoy the natural environment.
• Students can join the activities on Fridays only

SEA’s ESL and Adventures:
15–17.5 hours per week 60-70 hours per term
9:30-12:30 or 1:30-3:35
• Students study in the morning or in the afternoon and then have a wide range of adventures to join.
• Flexible schedule
• Adventures include: kayaking, scuba diving, sailing, snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing, whale watching, wilderness excursions into Desolation Sound and many more. Students will be able to go on exciting weekend excursions and make lasting memories, while learning about your own abilities.
• Students can obtain certificates in kayaking, CPR, snowshoeing, snowboarding, scuba diving and in the accredited Brooks Outdoor Adventure Tourism program.
• All adventures are run through Terracentric, a leader in outdoor recreation and training.
