SPAO has excellent public transit access, and is within walking distance of the Byward Market, the Rideau Centre, the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, the National Archives, the National Gallery of Canada, Arts Court, the Ottawa School of Art, the University of Ottawa, and many commercial and public gallery spaces.

Location and Facilities:

The SPAO facility is a unique and comfortable space. Laid out in the traditional "New York School" studio style, students have access seven days a week to the equipment, computers, resources and information required to hone their skills and produce high-end work.
