Course Coverage
First, we cover all the basic skills and tools required for most BizTalk solutions. Then we use those basic skills to design and build a custom solution.
Lab Environment
Our virtual machine image contains a preconfigured BizTalk Server environment, fully loaded with all the BizTalk accelerators and adapters. In addition, our virtual machine contains software and tools from IBM, HP, Sun, and other major vendors besides Microsoft. These are required for testing systems integration scenarios, and provides practical alternatives for companies who don't want to limit themselves exclusively to Microsoft technology.
Course Curriculum
Our BizTalkTrainers Professional ToolChest contains the curriculum for all of our courses, and odds are that somewhere along the road, you'll need additional training materials for features and tools that were not covered in class. For beginning students who are more comfortable following step-by-step predetermined procedures, we have traditional click-through labs and PowerPoint presentations.
For the vast majority of our students, we use a more dynamic approach:
- High-Level Recipes for building specific solutions;
- Low-Level "How-To" Recipes for using specific tools and executing tasks;
- Maps that guide us to our end-point, and help us find our way back;
- Specs for all the property values, seperating data from process;
- Treasures, those golden nuggets that clarify concepts and offer proofs as well as "tips and tricks", best practices, and valuable architectural ideas.
The BizTalkTrainers Professional ToolChest also contains hundreds of ready-to-run BizTalk Server solutions and a huge, rapid-access KnowledgeBase, so at the conclusion of our class, you won't worry about trying to retain all the information -- you'll take it with you: the entire virtual machine image, including the BizTalkTrainers Professional ToolChest.
