Cooking School in France

Ouichef, Normandy:
Ouichef is a cookery school located in Normandy, France. At Ouichef we offer a range of excellent one day, mid-week and seven day cooking courses. An ideal culinary vacation for those looking for that hands-on, fun and memorable activity holiday. The cookery programmes on offer will be conducted in English and meet the needs of all, whether you have a basic knowledge of cookery or are a keen amateur or even a professional. Your chef for the programme will be Andy Whitson who has been cooking for thirty years (all his working life) Andy is French classically trained and for the last 15 years has worked as a college senior chef lecturer. Andy has also won many awards in national and international culinary competitions and has captained senior teams and student teams to great success. Andy has a vast amount of practical experience and knowledge which he openly shares with his Ouichef students so that they gain the ultimate cooking holiday experience.

Facilities:
The cookery school is in a new building which has been built in the traditional Normandy style by local artisans and has accommodation on the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped and has been designed to maintain the traditional feel of the exterior of the building. It also has toilets and showers on both floors. There is also an 8 x 4 mtr swimming pool to cool down in if it gets a little hot in the kitchen.
