BA (Hons) Degree in Fashion Design - 3 years:
This is a dual qualification course; On successful graduation, you earn a degree in fashion design from the University of Wales, a leading UK university, as well as an fashion design diploma - advanced level from Accademia Italiana.

Throughout our fashion degree program, our students, guided by professionals, learn to make their way in the fashion industry both from the design and from the market point of view. The basic course (first and second year) is directed at the instruction of the fundamental basics, while the advanced course (third year) builds upon this basic knowledge and aims at specialization. Various kinds of fashion are covered during the school's program (sportswear, elegant, casual, avant-garde, etc.), developing both the design capabilities and the technical ability to produce these garments.

Course Content:  History of costume; Fashion illustration; Collection; Tailoring techniques; Industrial pattern design; Clothing samples; Textile technology; Color techniques; Prototyping; Experimental projects; Computer aided design (CAD); Marketing and business.

An integral part of the course are the fashion shows that our Fashion school organizes each year in Italy or in other countries. In addition, you will have numerous occasions where you will be in direct contact with the industry, with designers, and with the public.

Certification:  At the end of each of our fashion school's academic year, a specific certificate or diploma is awarded upon successful completion of all relative exams. At the end of the 3rd year, the Accademia Italiana awards its diploma and the University of Wales awards its bachelors degree.
