Located in Miami, FL, Music Industry Educators (MIE) offers online music industry certificate programs, in addition to individual courses in songwriting, arranging, music production, musicianship and music business through over 100 college and university partners. During each 12-week course, student use innovative online resources. These include video content, audio examples, weekly chats, interactive exercises, and discussion boards which are used to communicate, interact, and learn with and from your instructor and other students.

Music Industry Educators was formed in 2006 by a group of Music Industry program faculty and directors who were looking for a solution to the ever-increasing student demand for music industry education. We determined that the issues of finding qualified faculty, limited recording facility and lab resources could be addressed by developing a comprehensive curriculum - audio, business and songwriting - in an e-learning format.

At Music Industry Educators, students complete assignments on their own schedule each week. They can work at a pace that’s suitable for them. Our faculty consists of distinguished Grammy award winning music industry professionals and seasoned academics.
