Located in Miami, FL, Coral Rock Academy is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that allows students the opportunity to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally through the creation of a dynamic partnership between home, school and community. Our philosophy is that children do well if they can. When they are not doing well, we work collaboratively with them to identify and remove the obstacles while we build the skills to be successful.

We are a Special Education School for Children in Grades 4-12.

Our Curriculum is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). This means that we maintain consistency and standards in education that are upheld by peer institutions.

Students learn the same curriculum in the same order as they would if they were in their home school district. This is also inclusive of One-To- One and Peer Group Counseling, Life and Social Skill Development, and Transition Planning.

Upon completion of the program, students receive a University of Miami Online High School (UMOHS) diploma. UMOHS follows the State of Florida standards for graduation requirements. Students are well prepared for the transition into the next phase of their lives, be it postsecondary education or joining the workforce.
