Customized Courses:
In addition to the linguistic stays, ALFMED Academy offers language courses organized all year long as evening courses or as intensive courses during school vacations.
These courses are designed for residents in Perpignan and its area 
:
- Groups of accompanied juniors (15-18 years old) or adults ;
- Recently settled foreigners who would like to start to learn or improve their knowledge of French.
- School children who would like to take special French courses within their high school or college program, for grades from sixth through final year ;
- Adults who would like to learn French or any other language, irrespective of their education level ;
- Companies intending to facilitate their employees to learn or improve their knowledge of FRENCH within the continuous training course. We can provide tailor made courses with specific terminology.
One to One Courses:
The ALFMED Academy offers individual courses for everybody, foreign students already integrated in an academic or intensive program, students and adults residing in Perpignan. It is face to face with a teacher that learners will progress optimally.,Our courses are adapted to the students spe
cific needs and goals. The plan is customized to suit his/her needs prior to the beginning of the course sessions.
French Conversation classes in Perpignan:
You already live in the region of Perpignan or in France and you would like to be able to communicate in French ? ALFMED has set up special programs for you sessions all year long in Perpignan - join every Monday and Thursday at 1pm or at 3 pm - 2 groups sorted by level.
DELF/DALF Exam Preparation:
The ALFMED Academy offers its students a preparation towards the French DELF and DALF exams, delivered by the French Ministry of Education. A very good level of French is required, as well as enrollment for two semesters, eight months from September to May.
Students can present these examinations through ALFMED, at the University of Perpignan.
What is the DELF and who takes this exam ?
The DELF (or, “Diplomes d’Etudes en Langue Francaise”) is an
exam for the first degree. This exam corresponds to a level of 400 to 450 hours of French coursework. It is intended for students who are at the advanced level who would like to progress in many diverse situations in every day life (social relations, professionals, conversations with native French speakers, comprehension of the media).
The DALF: Why and for whom ?
The DALF (or “Diplome Approfondi en Langue Francaise”) is THE diploma indispensable for students wanting to study in a French University. The candidates must consequently justify an excellent level in French, close to bilingual, since they are normally destined to follow university courses absolutely identical to those taken by native students. They therefore must perfectly master the techniques of summarizing a text, review or analyze a text in accordance with the criteria of national French education.
The DALF is not a national exam. Each exam center, like the University of Perpignan, proposes its own subjects as well as its own sessions.
