International House Freiburg:
Our school was founded as LGS Sprachkurse in 1972 and in the beginning of the eighties began to specialise in teaching German to foreign students. In 1983 LGS became a member of the International House World Organisation and since 1991 we are the centre for Teacher Training and Teacher Development for German as a Foreign Language for the whole world organisation. The majority of our teachers have been trained by us. In all these years we have been constantly working on improving our quality and on developing our services and facilities in every aspect.

Premium Courses for Adults and Business People
- for adults, business people, executives
- 5 lessons per day, 25 per week, each lesson lasts 45 minutes
- small groups of 2 to 4 (max 7) participants.
- Levels: elementary to advanced (C2). No total beginners!
- Minimum enrolment 2 weeks. Starting dates every Monday
- course times: 8.45 - 13.15 .

Trimester Long term Intensive 25
- for Young Adults 18+ , minimum duration 4 weeks.
- 25 lessons per week, each lesson lasts 45 minutes.
- students per group:8 - 10, max. 12;
- Levels: from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). Placement test on the first day.
- Starting dates:every Monday, for total beginners every first Monday of the month.

Summer short term intensive 25
- for Young Adults 18+ , minimum duration 2 weeks.

We offer Summer Holiday Courses for four different age groups:
- Age group 10-12 with residence accommodation
- Age group 13-15 with residence accommodation
- Age group 16-18 with residence accommodation
- Age group 15-18 with family accommodation

German for tourism purposes
- for young Adults 18+,
- Length of Course:4 to 8 weeks
- Number of lessons: 5 lessons a day (25 lessons per week) general German in the morning PLUS 4 lessons per week "German for Touristic Purposes" in the afternoon.
- Students per group: 8 - 10, max. 12.
- Levels: B1 to advanced (C2). Placement test on the first day.
- Minimum enrolment:4 weeks
- Starting dates: every Monday

Theatre course
- for Young People aged 18+
- Length of Course: 6 weeks
- Number of lessons:per week 25, each lesson lasts 45 minutes
- Levels from B1 (intermediate) to C2 (advanced)
- there is no previous acting experience necessary!
