Sprachforum Heinrich Heine Düsseldorf, founded in 1992 by former lecturers of Düsseldorf's Heinrich Heine University, is an international language institute. Our school is a member of the professional association German as a foreign language FaDaF and is recognised pursuant to the German Federal Law concerning the promotion of Education and Training. Sprachforum Heinrich Heine Düsseldorf has been licenced for TestDaF examination since 2002.

9-week intensive courses German as a FGerman Language Schools / Classesoreign Language
The 9-week intensive courses German as a foreign languages are intended for students who would like to stay in Germany for a longer period of time and/or who want to study at a German university.

Levels:
Basic courses A 1 and A 2 *
Intermediate level B 1 and B 2
Upper level C 1/preparation for DSH (i.e.German proficiency test) and TestDaF 

3-week courses German as a Foreign Language
Type B courses German as a foreign languages are intended for students who want to learn German very intensively or want to brush up their knowledge of German.

Levels:
Basic courses I and II
Intermediate level I and II
Upper level 
 
3-week summer course in July and August
Type C courses German as a foreign languages are intended for students of all levels who want to used their vacation to learn German or to brush up and consolidate their German language skills.
Accompanying the summer courses we are offering a leisure programme and field trips which can be booked in Düsseldorf and which are not included in the course fee.

Advanced level

The TestDaF Preparation Courses
Times of classes: Monday, Wednesday and Freiday
from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
4 lessons per day, 36 lessons per week
Size of groups: 8 - 12 students per course
Furthermore we offer TestDaF Preparation Courses prior to each TestDaF examination.

Evening Courses
The evening courses German as a foreign languages are intended for students who wish to learn German for everyday life or for their jobs, or who would like to brush up on their German skills and have no time during the day to attend a course.

Levels:
Basic courses, Intermediate level and Upper level

Individual lessons
In one-to-one classes you decide how fast you want to learn german, when classes start and how long they take. Your previous knowledge sets the framework. Students are required to book at least 10 lessons. If more than 30 lessons are booked, the price per lesson will be reduced. We will be glad to arrange courses for groups of 2-5 students.
