Intensive Courses:

These courses can be booked as 2, 4 or 8 week courses:

German for Seniors 50+:
Would you enjoy learning German and discussing language, history and culture with like-minded older people open to new ideas and experiences?
At our language course, you will experience the ideal combination of stimulating lessons and interesting leisure-time activities with people all over the world.

German in the Evening:
Our "Deutsch am Abend" evening-time German courses will give you intensive and varied language training. Dates, times and course durations vary, so please check the institute where you wish to attend your course.

PREMIUM courses for small groups:

Do you want to learn as much as possible in a short time? Do you need flexibility? Then we’ll work out the ideal course concept with you for individuals or teams of employees. The contents, intensity and duration of the course are defined by your needs and wishes. Naturally our courses also cover intercultural issues and German for polite everyday interactions.Then you will be at home in one of our small-group SuperIntensiv or Intensiv courses or an individual course. We offer small groups for companies and individuals, company courses and one-to-one instruction. Tailor-made German instruction for maximal success.

Special courses for professionals:

Do you need German in your everyday working life – for the challenges of today or tomorrow? Our special courses (e.g for teachers and business people) focus on building the German language skills you need for your work while familiarising you with cultural differences and what you need to know about everyday interactions in Germany. Our cultural and leisure-time programme will include company tours and discussions with people working in your field. This will give you an impression of everyday working life in Germany while giving you an opportunity to use your skills in a personal exchange of views.

These courses include German for teachers, German plus Internship, Communication skills for the Workplace as well as the Business German (Certificate);
This course is aimed at professionals who regularly need to use German at work. This course is the ideal way to prepare for the ZDfB examination.

Exam Preparation Courses:

University Entrance DSH Preparation:
DSH stands for "Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber" (German language university entrance exam for foreign students). DSH preparation is carried out under our Intensiv 8 course program at the Goethe Institut in Mannheim-Heidelberg. This Goethe Institut specializes in preparatory courses for university studies and offers:

* For beginners, the courses systematically present the structures of the German language over a period of 8–10 months withGerman Language Schools / Classes the goal of taking the DSH examination for university admission.
* For advanced students (Level B2 – C1), an eight-week DSH preparatory course is offered in February/March and August/September before the university semester begins.

TestDaF preparation course:
The TestDaF examination is used worldwide to test the language skills for entrance to German universities, and is equivalent to the DSH examination. You can take part in the TestDaF examinations at all Goethe-Instituts in Germany.
The institutes in Bremen and Göttingen conduct special TestDaF preparatory courses, including the exam itself. They offer:

* instruction by highly qualified trainers specialised in TestDaf examination preparation with many years of experience in preparatory courses for university studies
* training tailored to the various question types in all sections of the TestDaF examination

Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom - GDS Exam Preparation:
For participants with good German skills who want to improve their chances of passing the GDS examination.

Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom - KDS Exam Preparation:
For participants with good German skills who want to improve their chances of passing the KDS examination.

International Business German Examination (PWD):
Intensive course lasting approximately four weeks with 120 units of instruction (45 minutes each).
For participants working in commercial and administrative professions. This course provides an introduction to the language of business and administration and is designed to prepare participants for the PWD examination in business German.

A two-week intensive German course combined with an exciting programme of leisure-time and sporting activities. The course takes place at the modern conference centre of the Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences.
