As we all know, well-founded language and cultural knowledge is one of the key qualifications in education and profession. With our successful programmes all our students, not only master the German language, but also discover different aspects of Germany.

Our teachers are all highly-qualified German teachers. They have many years of experience in teaching German as a Foreign Language - Deutsch ald Fremdsprache (DaF). They guarantee the highest quality of instruction according to the newest developments in foreign language methodology and didactics.

We offer different courses for all levels of German language knowledge. Take advantage of our flexibility. Participants on each level with pre-knowledge can start every week. We also offer courses for absolute beginners, as well as a variety of special programmes such as German home stay / German host families.

Spacious and bright classrooms await the students. A self-study room, a tea-coffee corner and garden are at your disposition. Free Internet via WLAN accessible in the language school as well as in the different accommodation facilities.

EDLS offers various types of accommodation to its participants. The different accommodations are located next to EDLS in the city centre and are conveniently connected to the public transportation system (Bus station at doorstep, 3min walk to the train station).

Each student can choose between modern and bright accommodation at the language school’s international students' residency or the students' apartment. Several fully furnished Single and Double rooms with Internet access via WLan, Cable access, Pay-Phone, coin-use washing machine, free dryer available, as well as a Homestay programme with friendly German host families.

Kehl am Rhein, Strasbourg’s neighbouring German city, is situated right in the heart of Europe! Geographically ideally located in the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the southwestern part of Germany, the city is next to France and Switzerland. Kehl at the edge of the Black Forest is also known to be Germany’s gateway to France. Nowhere else in Germany you'll have the chance to experience such cultural diversity as in the region around Kehl.

Kehl is an important industrial centre of Europe. Centrally situated in a particularly dynamic and attractive industrial area, Kehl enjoys the benefits of the regional, national and international transport networks. Several international airports such as Frankfurt, Zurich, Strasbourg, Basel and Stuttgart are near at hand.
