There is only one Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. In partnership with the Swiss and international hospitality industry, the world’s first hotel school prepares the leaders of tomorrow. Our philosophy of learning, combining experience and discovery, leads to the mastery of the arts and sciences of hospitality management.

All EHL programmes strike a careful balance between the science and art of hospitality management. We believe that the best education for a career in hospitality is one that offers the opportunity to develop specific hospitality skills while providing a solid, broad-based business education through our different hotel management courses. Our hospitality MBA, our Bachelor in international hospitality management, and our BTECH hospitality diploma all combine two different yet complementary sets of skills:

* The hard financial and business knowledge and skills needed for effective hospitality and tourism management
* The practical and professional experience which are part of the tradition of excellence in Swiss hotel management schools

Our programmes are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

4-year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality; 2-year Hotel Management Diploma; 14-month Master in Hospitality. Programmes are offered in English and French. All EHL programmes strike a careful balance between the science and art of hospitality management. Students learn the hard financial and business aspects of hotel management as well as practical and professional experience.

There are 300 single or double studios on campus where most students choose to live during their first year of studies. A group of older students act as mentors and are present around the clock for help and advice and to facilitate your entry into student life. After your first year of studies, you may prefer to share a flat or house with other students; there is plenty of rented accommodation available nearby, in or around Lausanne.

EHL offers more than 20 student-run committees - each with a special focus - from helping those in need, to promoting school to organizing events. There is something for everyone - outdoor enthusiasts, art and wine connaisseurs, writers, photographers, dancers, and much more.

You’ll find that EHL students mostly just want to be on their feet doing something! Campus life gives them the opportunity to test-drive what they learn in class; and in return, student activities feed back into their hospitality management courses. Through these events and activities, you can develop your own management style and try out your leadership skills.
