Summer Camps in Illinois for Kids & Teens
French Immersion Camp for your children: French at Camp 2.5 hours from Chicago, Illinois, aims at introducing or improving French language and culture to 6 to 13 year old children (2nd to 7th grade) in a friendly and highly structured manner. The overall staff to camper ratio is 1 to 8. No previous language study is required. French at Camp combines the rigor of the curriculum with the quality of hands on activities throughout the day in the Overnight Camp. Instruction is provided by highly experienced native French speakers.
The Camp will take place in beautiful Ronora Lodge and Retreat center, 2.5 hours from Chicago in Southwest Michigan. This Camp has long been selected by groups and organizations looking for a natural and friendly environment flexible enough to fit our needs perfectly.

French-at-Campers participate in daily language sessions with others at the same level of proficiency. In addition to daily activities such as authentic French cooking, arts and crafts and sports, there will be an evening program every night: camp fire, French board games, singing, story telling.

Child's Play Touring Theatre, based in Chicago, Illinois, is a touring theatre for children offering summer camps for children aged 7-14. We provide children with the opportunity to create original stories and poems, adapt them from page to stage, and perform an original production for family and friends. Encouraging skills in ensemble building, self-esteem, awareness and problem solving, Child’s Play teaching artists, inspire campers by providing instruction in writing, acting, improvisation, juggling, movement, dance, and music.

L'Alliance Francaise de Chicago Chez Kids Academy is a Summer Camp with French classes in Chicago, IL, offering a 7-week, full-day program for children ages 6 to 13. L'Alliance Francaise de Chicago and our team of dedicated teachers propose seven weeks of discovery through various entertaining workshops and two French language classes a week. Children will develop their skills and broaden their horizons, make new friends and be exposed to French!
Our Summer Camp is designed to develop your child's creative skills through fun and structured activities. Embark on a seven-week journey into French language and culture: Language Classes, Song, Dance and Music, Arts and Crafts, Sports, Games, Cooking and Field Trips and much more. During activities conducted in French (with some English), kids will be divided into groups based on their ages. All levels of French are welcome.
Our summer camp will take place from June 13th to July 29th 2011. It is held 5 days a week, 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $330 / week with a discounted rate for the short week of July 5th-8th.
