Institut Grand-Bleu is located 6 km west of Cannes. We welcome students to our chateau which overlooks the bay of Cannes. Institut Grand-Bleu has created a school which allows you to learn French quickly whilst operating in a prestigious framework. The institute opens out to the sea and extends its grandeur to the world. We provide accommodation and activities with the courses and welcome young students to our summer campus.

Standard Courses
20 lessons of 45 mn per week in a small group (max of 10 pers). This course gives emphasis on clear and effective grammar to facilitate immediate oral and written expression in practical situations.It focuses on interactivity dynamics and supported by cultural and day to day materials.

Courses start every Monday of the year and we recommend a minimum stay of 2 weeks. The classes are held from Monday to Friday. To ensure that we meet your learning needs, we ask that you take a competency test on the first Monday thus allowing us to place you in a class which best suits your level. The five levels are Beginner, Elementary, Intermediary, Advanced and Superior.

Intensive Workshop
In addition to the standard course, we offer a weekly workshop which comprises 8 classes of 45 minutes ( max 5 people, minimum 3 people). This workshop concentrates on improving your acquired knowledge and vocabulary.

Private Lessons
A personalized course which allows a strong improvement of your knowledge as requested. Duration, content and objectives will be defined together with the teacher as requested.

Package Executive
A customised course can be created to meet your professional requirements.Topics such as, French to professional vocation, specialised vocabulary,
Phone call and commercial negociation can be included.The schedule, content and objectives are arranged by the professor according to your needs.

Extended Stays
The IGB also offers long term programs from 5 weeks to 5 months which will enable you to master the French language. The IGB can also prepare for diplomas such as the Alliance Française, the Chamber of commerce and the Ministery of education ( DELF)
