Located in the West of France, Angers is the gateway to the Loire-Valley and is distinguished as much for the richness of its medieval heritage as for its cultural and economic dynamism. Built either side of the Maine river, Angers is a very pretty friendly town from which one can visit a wide range of castles and the world’s greatest example of needlework known as the Tapestry of the Apocalypse. Its imposing castle fortress, museums, gardens, shops and gastronomic restaurants and student life give life to the famous Angevin softness.

Angers is easily accessible by train or by car, nearby the cities of Nantes (20 minutes by TGV train – and the International Airport of Nantes-Atlantique), Paris (1h30 by TGV train), La Baule (1h30 driving time), Le Mont Saint Michel (2hr driving time). We come and pick you up at the station of Angers and upon request at the International Airport of Nantes-Atlantique.
