Mediterráneo Spanish Centre was founded in 1996, we are exclusively dedicated to Spanish teaching, and in totally personalized form, we are a leading company offering higly specialised Spanish courses to the Valencian community. Our courses include Standard, Intensive, Super-intensive and Speciality programs which can be booked for 10, 20 or 25 hrs per week depending on the requirements of each student.
For your convenience, all courses begin on every Monday.
Succes
sfully implementing the interactive method totally depends on the personal attention your teacher is able to give you. Our groups never have more than eight students on all standard, intensive and super-intensive courses. We determine the make-up of the group according to students’ abilities.
The first day of the course begins with an oral and written test. (Although, if you know you are a beginner, you will start directly in a beginners group).
We work with the four traditional levels (Cervantes Institute) in combination with the six of the European Common Reference Framework for Language (Council of Europe)
We offer 8 basic levels of Spanish teaching in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:
* Beginners A1
Develop ability and confidence in basic Spanish communication in familiar environments and interaction with native speakers in Hispanic countries
* Beginners A2
Develop the ability to maintain a simple conversation in familiar environments and daily situations, ex
pressing ideas in the present, past and future tenses.
* Intermediate B1 and B2
Develop ability in communication and linguistic competency to engage in conversations on nonspecialist topics.
* Advanced C1 and C2
Gain the necessary linguistic skills to be able to effectively structure an oral or written discussion.
* Superior D1
Further knowledge of Hispanic language and culture.
* Superior D2
Eliminate any errors and differentiate between minor linguistic subtleties.
Our Speciality Courses:
Commercial Spanish Course (Tourism):
* This course will prepare you to master the language skills used in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industry. The course will prepare you for the tests given by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid, which are necessary to obtain the basic and advanced certificates of Spanish for Tourism.
Preparation Course For The Chamber of Commerce Official Certificate:
* This is a course in Commercial Spanish. This course will provide you with the Spanish skills needed in the business world
and will prepare you for the business, economic, and cultural reality of the Spanish society. This course will equip you with the knowledge needed to qualify for the basic and advanced certificates or the diploma in business Spanish given by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid.
This course will prepare you for the required examinations to obtain the official Ministry of Education Certificate. If you are interested in this course.
D.E.L.E. Preparation Courses:
DELE stands for Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, or “Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma”. It is the only certificate for non-native Spanish speakers that is officially recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. This diploma is of great international value for those who are going to study at a Spanish University and who want to work, or are going to work in a Spanish speaking country environment. We advise everyone who is going to take a lengthy “Spanish for Life” course to take the DELE examination.
