Toddler:The Toddler Program at our Tokyo school was created because there was a demand for a program that would help the youngest children entering preschool to adjust to the longer days and being
around older children. The class size is small with a maximum of 4 children at a time. We do a many activities together with preschool such as circle time, morning snack, and outside time, but also have our own time when we do sensory activities, dynamic art, as well as other activities that are stimulating and exciting for toddlers.
We believe that even young children benefit greatly from project approach and thus do smaller-scale projects together. These projects will greatly benefit your child, especially when he/she is ready to move up to preschool
From 18 months - 2.5 years.
Children between 2 years - 2.5 years can choose whether to attend the Toddler program or Preschool program. Trial classes are possible and if need be, the teachers will be happy to recommend which class would be more suitable for your child.
Preschool:The preschool program curriculum is based on proj
ect approach which in practice means that we listen to our students and base a project on their interests. During a project the children learn not only about the project topic, the also learn how to find information on their own, scientific reasoning, and learn to work both independently and in teams to discover new information. The Question - Discussion - Hypothesis - Experiment - Conclusion chain is at the core of all projects.
We also have more traditional goals such as literacy, math, self-expression, social-skills, fine- and gross motor skills, that we help the children reach through positive encouragement, intellectual stimulation, and by fostering an attitude that it is fun to learn.
Preschool (Pre-Academia):The Pre-Academia preschool program is similar to the preschool program but differs in that it is designed to prepare children for the academic and the social challenges that come wi
th starting elementary school.
By creating individual curricula based on interests, strengths & weaknesses, and the language of students future elementary school as well as supporting them in developing their social skills by fostering optimism and encouraging individuality, creativity, curiosity, and independence, our children will have an easier time adjusting to elementary scool.
Preschool Afternoon Class:The preschool afternoon class is a one or two day a week class. Our students range from children from our day-time preschool class to children from other preschools who wish to learn in an English-speaking environment while doing fun educational activities together with friends.
Our activities are similar to our normal preschool program activities but for the afternoon class, we focus on one or two subjects per day to gain a deeper understanding on specific topics.

Elementary School Afternoon Class:The elementary school afternoon class for elementary school students is an English class where we learn English together by both traditional conversation class methods and the occasional but always fun worksheets, as well as through science experiments, art, craft, creative writing, sports, music, games, etc.
The elementary school afternoon class is so much more than a regular English class.
Our students are between the ages 6 - 10 (grades 1-4), and come from a wide variety of backgrounds and have very different levels of English proficiency which is why the class is divided into beginner and advanced classes and the activities range from learning new words and basic phrases to creative writing and other advanced assignments based on the US elementary school curriculum.
Kids Planet:Kids Planet is a two-year program originally designed for Japanese preschool students preparing for elementary school entrance exams, but because of its popularity we are now offering it in English as well.
The Kids Planet program is a unique program designed with the help of several Nobel laureates and other outstanding members of society, with topics on science, optimism, self-expression, foreign language & culture, and math.
We believe that the traditional Japanese cram schools teach children how to do well on tests and cram their children with knowledge that the children do not know how to apply. This is why the Kids Planet program is designed to encourage children to be creative and evolve problem-solving skills while learning in a positive environment.
With Kids Planet students going to well-respected elementary schools, the results speak for themselves.
